Role Description The Resource Coordinator is a full-time. In this position, the Resource Coordinator will manage staff scheduling and allocation to ensure projects are adequately resourced and customer commitments are met. Daily tasks include coordinating with team members and leadership to understand staffing needs, maintaining resource and equipment plans, and updating internal systems with accurate assignment information.
The role involves communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to support service delivery, assisting with onboarding and training logistics, and monitoring workload distribution to promote efficiency.
The Resource
Coordinator will also help identify process improvements,
support reporting on resource utilization, and collaborate with colleagues to uphold Barrier Group’s standards of responsiveness and reliability.
Qualifications
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in resource management, including scheduling, allocation, and tracking of staff,equipment and project activities.
- Customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness, reliability, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Experience supporting or coordinating training activities, such as organizing sessions and tracking participation.
- Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Competence with common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and communication platforms).
- Previous experience in coordination, administration, or operations support is an asset.
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
