ECU Software Developer Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment: Full Time Job Description We are seeking an experienced ECU Software Developer with solid automotive domain expertise and hands-on experience in Model-Based Development (MBD) .

The role involves developing ECU software across the complete lifecycle, from requirements and model development through testing, calibration, defect resolution, and production release.

Key Responsibilities Develop ECU software using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach Manage the complete ECU software development lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, debugging, and production releases Develop MBD solutions for ECUs such as BCM, HPCM, ABS, ADAS, and HVAC Perform plant modeling and design control algorithms for dynamic systems Create model integration frameworks for Model-in-the-Loop (MIL)



testing Develop models and applications using MATLAB/Simulink Implement auto-code generation for automotive ECUs Follow MAAB guidelines and MISRA C coding standards Support ECU calibration and software validation Work with tools such as RTW/Target
