As the Sales Engineer, you will foster enduring business relationships and become an integral part of a leading manufacturing organization. Growing the sales of Monarch products within the assigned territory.
Managing the complete sales cycle from consultation with customers to closing.
Identifying current customers through research, networking and cold calling.
Implementing marketing plans to increase sales and margins.
Proactively managing existing accounts while prospecting for current business within existing customer base.
Developing and implementing detailed plans to maximize sales for each customer.
Collaborating with Business Development, Product Management and Engineering to develop effective sales plans, ensuring sales and margin targets are met in the near term and sustained into the future.
Facilitating improved communication within the organization by monitoring current and future requirements to ensure Monarch is well positioned to sustain and increase business.
Monitoring customers' business conditions and communicating with the organization to ensure customer service and financial targets are being met.
Compiling and communicating accurate sales forecasts continuously.
Support company initiatives and policies enthusiastically.
Travel throughout North America approximately one week a month.
An established track record of selling technical or industrial products and solutions, demonstrating success through various market conditions.
Experience that demonstrates capability of developing solutions with customers' Engineering Departments.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
Proven ability to build lasting business-to-business sales relationships while exceeding sales growth and profitability goals.
Personable, with the proven ability to quickly establish and grow relationships with customers and contacts.
Ability and willingness to travel freely across international borders.
