Enhance public health initiatives with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Public Health Nurse. This in-person role focuses on nursing care for individuals with ostomies in Manitoba.
In this role, report directly to the Team Manager while managing day-to-day operations for the Manitoba Ostomy Program. You will ensure high-quality evidence-based nursing care and compliance with best practices in enterostomal nursing. Your valuable experience in community and long-term care will be critical for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily operations of the Manitoba Ostomy Program
Provide quality nursing care to patients with ostomies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
Ensure adherence to best practice guidelines
Implement evidence-based practices for service delivery
Requirements:
Bachelor of Nursing degree required
Minimum 5 years in Community or Long-Term Care
Minimum 3 years as an ET nurse
CRNM and CAET registrations
Robust communication and problem-solving skills
Utilize your nursing expertise and leadership to support individuals with ostomies at WRHA in Winnipeg.
