We are looking for a UX Researcher and Designer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining code components within Aloe and its tooling. You will work in a close-knit team that spans engineering, UX, cognitive science, design, and operations, in our shared mission to invent, implement, and deliver the most significant user interface changes in a generation.

Qualifications

Design and conduct user research studies to uncover deep insights about user behavior and needs

Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and data analysis

Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes using modern design tools like Figma

Ability to implement prototypes in code using frameworks like Svelte

Experience synthesizing research findings into actionable insights and transparent recommendations

Strong communication skills to present research findings to diverse stakeholders

Experience working in cross-functional product development teams

Excellent documentation and storytelling abilities to share user insights effectively

Ability to balance multiple research initiatives while maintaining attention to detail

Passion for understanding user behavior and creating exceptional user experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes

Background in cognitive science or related field

Previous experience in an Agile product development environment

Familiarity with web development technologies and principles

Experience conducting remote user research sessions

Portfolio demonstrating both research methods and prototyping capabilities
