General Labourer / Yard Associate (Short-Term Chance) Protrans Personnel Services is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for multiple General Labourers / Yard Associates .

This is a short-term assignment (4 to 6 weeks) with the potential for an extension or transition to a permanent full-time position based on individual performance and business needs.
Schedule Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Hours may vary based on operational needs Compensation $17.00 per hour Paid weekly via direct deposit Key Responsibilities Flat stacking drywall and other building materials in the yard (240 300 lbs between 2 workers) Loading customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently Assisting with yard organization, housekeeping, and inventory movement Supporting receiving and shipping activities as required Participating in occasional drywall and building material deliveries with drivers Maintaining a clean, safe,
and professional work environment Following all company safety procedures and policies Qualifications Previous experience in general labour, warehouse, yard operations, construction, or a similar environment is considered an asset Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day Comfortable lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy materials Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic English communication skills (spoken and written) Strong attention to safety practices Clean criminal background check required Required PPE Candidates must provide their own: CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots Work gloves Safety glasses Hard hat Safety Vest Why Apply?
