TAVOLA is seeking an experienced PART TIME BARTENDER.

We’re looking for an experienced bartender to join our small, close-knit team for one shift per week, with the possibility of a second serving shift for someone with strong serving experience and wine knowledge.

Tavola is a busy Italian-inspired neighbourhood restaurant in Vancouver’s West End. We’re known for warm, genuine hospitality, house-made pasta, great wine, and dining room full of regulars.

Because we’re a busy restaurant and a small team, we’re looking for someone with enough experience to step behind the bar and hit the ground running. Experience alone isn’t just what we're looking for. Personality, attitude, reliability, and how you work with the people around you are even more important to us.

We’re looking for someone who is positive, personable, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys hospitality. Someone who takes their work seriously without taking themselves too seriously, and who understands that excellent service comes from working together as a team.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous bartending experience in a busy, full-service restaurant
• Solid knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and basic wine service




• Comfortable managing a busy bar independently and efficiently
• Able to stay organized and composed during high-volume service
• Positive, friendly, and genuinely hospitable personality
• Reliable, punctual, and skilled
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Comfortable interacting with guests and helping create a warm neighbourhood atmosphere
• Serving experience and strong wine knowledge are an asset

SCHEDULE:

• Part-time — 1 bartending shift per week
• Potential for a second serving shift for the right candidate
• Applicants should be looking for a consistent, ongoing part-time position

COMPENSATION:

• $18.25/hr + gratuities
• Staff meal

START DATE: Immediately
