Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise IAM and CIAM solutions.
Serve as the technical authority for authentication, authorization, federation, and identity lifecycle management.
Design and operate secure, scalable, resilient identity services supporting customer-facing SaaS applications and multiple engineering teams.
Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across cross-functional, multi-team initiatives.
Drive engineering excellence through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards.
Improve platform observability, maintainability, performance, availability, and operational efficiency.
Lead technical investigations, evaluate emerging technologies, and influence long-term technology strategy and engineering roadmaps.
Advance responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture and technical leadership responsibilities.
Extensive experience designing, implementing,



and operating IAM and CIAM solutions.
Deep hands-on experience with Auth0, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Ping Identity, or similar identity platforms.
Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), federation, token-based security, and contemporary authentication patterns.
Experience building and operating identity solutions at scale for customer-facing SaaS applications.
Solid experience designing and building distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
Deep understanding of software architecture, security principles, and modern engineering practices.
Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and organizations.
Solid communication and stakeholder-alignment skills.
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and how AI can improve engineering effectiveness.
Preferred experience with identity platform migrations, Zero Trust, Single Sign-On (SSO), enterprise federation, cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, regulated or security-focused environments, and security, privacy, compliance, or audit requirements.
