As a vital member of the Odette Cancer Program, the Registered Nurse will oversee the comprehensive care of surgical oncology patients, including those undergoing Colorectal and Urology procedures. You will thrive in a mentoring environment promoting professional growth and quality improvement initiatives, equipping you to lead and advance your career.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver total care for assigned surgical oncology patients
• Collaborate effectively within the interprofessional team
• Engage in discharge planning and ongoing patient assessments
• Participate in quality improvement projects locally and internationally
• Mentor and lead peers in nursing practices
Requirements:
• Current Registration in Ontario as a Registered Nurse
• B.ScN. degree preferred
• B.C.L.S. Certification required
• Proven experience in primary nursing care
• Commitment to continuing professional development
