In this casual role, you will work across varying shifts at the St. Paul’s Hospital Pregnancy, Birthing and Newborn Centre. Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, your key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing direct nursing interventions. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care while adhering to policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan nursing care for patients
• Develop and evaluate nursing care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Provide direct nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborate with health care professionals
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BC College of Nurses
• Two years of NICU experience or specialty certification
• Current neonatal resuscitation certification
• Robust communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in teams
