Our client is a well-established organization operating within the real estate and financial services sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in real estate lending, finance, or investment to join a high-performing team and gain exposure to a broad range of financing transactions and real estate opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

Review client, broker, and borrower information packages and conduct detailed underwriting of multifamily mortgage transactions.

Prepare and present transactions for internal approval and external stakeholders where required.

Ensure transactions comply with established lending policies, procedures, and applicable requirements.

Provide guidance and sound judgment throughout the origination process, helping identify solutions and resolve issues.

Prepare funding checklists, loan advance statements, and related transaction documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Work closely with clients, brokers, borrowers, and internal stakeholders throughout the financing process.





Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners through a professional and service-oriented approach.

Support a variety of financing transactions, including construction financing, term loans, first and second mortgages, and bridge financing.

Collaborate with senior team members on transaction structuring, risk assessment, and deal execution.

Qualifications:

4+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within commercial real estate, real estate lending, mortgage finance, or a related field.

Strong understanding of the Canadian multifamily real estate market.

Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline.

Strong analytical, underwriting, and risk assessment skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
