We are looking for an energetic Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our team. You will report to the Shop Manager and be responsible for performing mechanical repairs on various vehicles and equipment. The role requires a commitment to high-quality service and attention to detail in all repairs and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mechanical repairs on trucks and trailers
• Diagnose faults and malfunctions accurately
• Provide high standard customer service in repairs
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Write service inspection reports and work orders
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of experience with heavy trucks and equipment
• Valid Class 5 License; Class 1 License an asset
• Red Seal commercial transport mechanic preferred
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
• Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
