Job Description: Under the Direction of the Manager and as part of the interdisciplinary Community Outreach and Support Team (COAST) within Adult Outreach, the Assessor Coordinator- Degree- Senior provides a complex range of screening, triage, assessment,
treatment and case coordinator services to a community mental health and addictions population. The incumbent provides program consultation and coordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, supervision, preceptors students in formal clinical practicum, and provides qualified public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources. The incumbent acts as a resource for other professionals for mental health and addictions in the community.

Experience
2 years working experience in community mental health and addictions services
Supervisory experience is an asset
Education
Degree in a health or social science related field.
Other Education and Training
Registered/eligible registration with appropriate licensing body if applicable
Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge in best practices in addictions and harm reduction strategies
Knowledge in various mental health disorders and stability interventions
Exp. in mental health & addictions community outreach & crisis interventions
