**We are hiring Warehouse Worker's in Vaughan, Ontario!**
**Job Description**
The Warehouse Worker accurately picks and prepares customer orders, handles materials safely, and supports efficient operations within a busy distribution center.
This role involves physical, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, using tools such as RF scanners to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time.
**Responsibilities**
Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and established procedures.
Bag loose quantities of products securely and label them clearly for shipment or staging.
Transport picked orders to the designated staging area in an organized and timely manner.
Perform general labor tasks within the warehouse, including sorting, organizing, and moving materials as needed.
Handle materials safely and consistently, lifting and carrying items up to and above 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and operational procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient work area in the distribution center.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Use warehouse equipment and tools properly, and report any issues or hazards promptly.
For individuals with forklift experience, assist with operating forklifts when required and as permitted.
**Essential Skills**
At least 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse or similar distribution environment.
Proven experience picking orders and handling materials in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to consistently lift, carry, and move items weighing 50+ pounds throughout the shift.
Experience with general labor tasks such as packing, warehouse organizing, and material handling.
Ability to use RF scanners or similar handheld devices for order picking and inventory tasks.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and staging of orders.
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work assigned afternoon/second shift hours.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety and operational procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Forklift experience is an asset and can support faster advancement within the company.
A valid forklift license is a nice-to-have qualification and may be eligible for additional shift premium.
Comfort working in a high-volume distribution center environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, equipment, and warehouse technologies.

**Work Environment**
This position is based in a busy distribution center environment on the afternoon/second shift, typically from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Team members work with warehouse tools and technology such as RF scanners and may interact with material handling equipment.
The atmosphere is fast-paced and goal-oriented, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and productivity.
Standard warehouse attire is appropriate, with a focus on safety and practicality suitable for material handling and general labor tasks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodbridge, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.92 - $19.92/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
