Make a difference in harm reduction with Lookout Housing and Health Society as a full-time Worker in Vancouver. Support vulnerable adults while managing essential harm reduction programs and services.
This role requires expertise in harm reduction practices and community resources. You will coordinate Lookout’s Needle Distribution Program and assist both clients and staff. Required skills include effective communication, organizational ability, and experience in social services.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee harm reduction programs and provide staff education • Implement approved harm reduction practices for clients • Maintain accurate records in manual and computerized systems • Assist clients in accessing various community resources • Participate in ensuring a safe environment for all clients
Requirements: • Certificate in social services or equivalent experience • Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate • Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract • Robust organizational and communication skills • Minimum two years sobriety if applicable
