The Canadian Mental Health Association, Halton Region is searching for a Casual Crisis Support Worker for the Safe Beds & Community Response Team. This in-person position involves providing immediate support to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Key aspects include conducting assessments, facilitating crisis planning, and advocating for clients' recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
• Conduct intake, assessments, and risk evaluations
• Coordinate client services, advocating for recovery goals




• Support clients in crisis planning and service navigation
• Facilitate referrals to community mental health services

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in mental health services
• Solid crisis intervention and risk management skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and legislation
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license required
