Elevate your career in recreation as an Aquatic Facility Operator at R.G. Dow Pool. This limited position involves pool maintenance, program management, and delivering exceptional customer service to the community.

As an integral part of the Parks and Recreation Services division, you will engage in program oversight and facility operations for approximately seven months. Your role focuses on maintaining exemplary service standards while monitoring pool conditions, conducting safety checks, and participating in staff development. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to health regulations and facilitating community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage pool maintenance in line with Public Health Act
• Oversee program registration and cash handling activities
• Ensure cleanliness, safety,



and security of facility
• Teach swimming and perform lifeguard duties when required
• Assist in budgeting and staff training processes

Requirements:
• Minimum 2.5 years aquatic leadership experience
• Current National Lifeguard and First Aid certifications
• Lifesaving Instructor Trainer Certificate
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
