Nissan is seeking a Sales Tax Manager to join their Tax Department in Mississauga. This full-time role requires five to seven years of indirect tax experience, strong knowledge of Canadian tax legislation, and the ability to coach and develop tax analysts. As part of a committed team, you will support compliance, manage audits, and ensure accuracy in tax reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and file monthly indirect and excise tax returns • Lead indirect tax audits with the Canada Revenue Agency • Analyze tax legislation and provide guidance to partners • Maintain indirect tax configurations in ERP systems • Support audits and compliance activities for internal controls
Requirements: • 5 to 7 years of indirect tax experience • Knowledge of the Canadian Excise Tax Act • Robust problem-solving and communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • CPA Canada In-Depth GST/HST Program completion
