**Job Title: Electrical Assembler**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on the electrical assembly and documentation of a variety of power supply products and control panels.

You will read and interpret schematics and blueprints, complete wiring and final hook-ups, and help maintain accurate documentation and stock inventory.

The position offers hands-on experience with welding power supplies, wiring harnesses, and control panels within a clean, well-equipped facility.
**Responsibilities**
Assemble and document a variety of electrical products, including welding power supplies and related equipment.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to guide assembly work.

Build power supply units across a product range of approximately 10–12 different products, rotating through products on a weekly and monthly basis.

Perform wiring, crimping, and soldering to complete electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Finalize wiring harness assemblies by plugging in ends and completing the final portion of wire hook-ups.

Work with control panels, including wiring, reading design documentation, and building control panels to specification.

Maintain all required documentation for each product, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Provide feedback on schematics and designs to help improve product design and manufacturability.

Assist in building and maintaining stock inventory to ensure appropriate quantities of products and components are on hand.

Troubleshoot basic electrical assembly issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner.

Follow all safety, quality, and procedural standards while working on the production floor.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum 3+ years of electrical assembly experience.

Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

Hands-on experience with wiring, soldering, and crimping.

Experience working on control panels, including wiring and panel assembly.

Proficiency in electrical assembly of electronics and power supply units.

Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical assembly and wiring issues.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.

Ability to work effectively on a variety of products and adapt to rotating assignments.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Electrical engineering technologist or technician education.

Minimum 6 months of experience in an electrical technician or technologist role, including co-op or internship experience.

Experience assembling welding power supplies or similar industrial electrical equipment.

Comfort providing constructive feedback on electrical designs and schematics.

Strong organizational skills to support inventory and documentation requirements.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a production environment.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hamilton, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
