TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a
**Talent Acquisition Specialist**
role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, career service departments, and industry networks to strengthen talent pipelines.

Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate information, and hiring activity within applicant tracking and talent management systems.

Manage the complete hiring process for positions, including workforce consultations, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, negotiations, and successful placement.

Support reporting, recruitment analytics, documentation management, audit activities, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining consistent communication, efficient hiring timelines, and a professional recruitment process from initial contact through onboarding.

Coordinate and participate in career fairs, networking events, campus engagement initiatives, workshops, and employer branding activities.





Provide expertise on candidate assessment, interview best practices, compensation considerations, and recruitment policy compliance.

Partner with business leaders to understand staffing requirements and workforce plans.

Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience within talent acquisition, recruitment, and staffing.

Excellent communication, organizational, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with applicant tracking systems and talent databases.

Professional Human Resources designation or membership in a recognized HR association is an asset.

Success managing full-cycle recruitment activities across multiple position types and business areas.

Background supporting student, internship, graduate, or other early-career talent programs is preferred.

Strong knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment practices, interviewing methodologies, and candidate assessment techniques.
