As a full-time Registered Practical Nurse at Providence Care, you will collaborate with an inter-professional team of RN/RPNs and PSWs to enhance the quality of life for your clients. Your role will involve hands-on support and interventions for older adults experiencing dementia, mental health issues, and other neurological conditions. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and support to clients in collaboration with the MRT team
• Assist in developing Collaborative Care Plans tailored to client needs
• Conduct assessments using evidence-based tools
• Support the MRT PSWs through assignments and collaboration
• Work across multiple long-term care homes within your region
Requirements:
• Current unrestricted RPN registration in Ontario
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in elder care
• CPR and First Aid certificates required
• Experience with responsive behaviours in various care settings
• Solid communication skills and teamwork ethic
