This full-time role focuses on developing and managing Indigenous community programs within an inclusive and engaging workplace. You'll oversee arts, cultural, educational, and recreational activities while leading a team of instructors and volunteers. Building essential community partnerships and providing support during crises are key responsibilities in this rewarding position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and evaluate programs for Indigenous patrons
• Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers
• Uphold the Centre’s mandate through inclusive programming
• Collaborate with community partners to meet emerging needs
• Assist patrons in crisis and provide necessary referrals
Requirements:
• University degree in social sciences or related field
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Strong relationships with Indigenous communities
• Extensive knowledge of community development principles
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
