What You Will Do
Det'on Logistics is seeking a skilled Freight Handler to join our team working on a 7x7 rotation(7 days on, 7 days off) from 6:00am to 6:00pm. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the secure and timely delivery of freight by loading and unloading cargo from aircraft and delivery trucks. We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual who is motivated to contribute to our customer-focused business. A Day In The Life

Operate warehouse and yard equipment including forklifts and or loaders for the efficient and safe handling of freight.





Utilize your organizational skills to ensure that all freight is accurately sorted, secured and labeled for safe transport.

Demonstrate your attention to detail by ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.

Provide assistance in locating high-priority freight and preparing loads for upcoming flights or trucks.

Be a safety advocate by actively participating in the Company’s Safety Management System program.

Demonstrate your knowledge and commitment to safety by understanding and fulfilling your responsibilities regarding safety as an employee.

What You Bring

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license.

Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous forklift or loader experience is considered an asset.

Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.

Must be willing to work in an outdoor winter environment

Applicants should possess the ability to multitask and work in high volume, fast paced environment
