**Standard Job Description**
The CMS 330 Product Team maintains the inner source components within Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) of the CMS 330 software product.
Members of the team are responsible for actions such as: retooling an existing legacy codebase to allow code reuse, while still allowing program customization as needed; improving capabilities of the core product; or designing new features based on stakeholder feedback.
Developers on the team will communicate design ideas to the product owner, scrum master, and development team, as well as other stakeholders.
They will implement these designs using primarily Java.
As an inner source project, the team's primary stakeholders are internal developers, across multiple in-progress Programs within Lockheed Martin Canada, which are often driven by customer requirements.
The candidate will participate in activities including but not limited to: Programming and debugging in both C++ and Java
Unit testing and documentation
Software design
Working in an Agile team environment
Various other tasks as required.
**Basic Qualifications**
Current student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or substantially similar field
Aptitude for programming and debugging with the latest tools in an Object-Oriented environment
Knowledge of programming in Java
Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner.
**Desired Skills**
Knowledge of programming in C++ Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab runners or Jenkins pipelines.
Knowledge of Java programming design patterns
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development practices
Valuable communication skills, and ability to work within a team
Active Security Clearance will be considered an asset.
