Join Miller Waste Systems as a Heavy Equipment Technician in Richmond Hill, Ontario. This full time role focuses on maintaining heavy equipment to minimize downtime for efficient site operations.

In this permanent position, you will report to the Facilities Equipment Manager while working Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing electrical and hydraulic issues, coordinating repairs, and performing preventative maintenance. A commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work independently outdoors is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safety protocols and Occupational Health & Safety Act
• Maintain and repair site equipment for minimal downtime




• Diagnose and service hydraulic and electrical systems
• Coordinate with site operations for repair scheduling
• Operate the company service truck on job sites

Requirements:
• Heavy Equipment Technician License preferred
• Strong diagnostic skills for equipment issues
• Basic computer knowledge and communication skills
• Valid G Driver’s License with clean abstract
• Must supply own mechanic tools
