**Job Description:**
**Department Overview:**
Model Risk Management (MRM) group is responsible for establishing and implementing enterprise model governance, risk and control strategies and policies.
We oversee and ensure compliance with MRM requirements ensuring that the bank has an effective risk management program within its risk appetite.

**Summary** :
The Senior Analyst, Model Risk Governance, is responsible for managing various operational processes and projects/initiatives within MRM.
Operational processes supported include execution of Data Integrity reviews, Quality Assurance & Quality Control program, and conducting Model Inventory Attestation.
The candidate is an experienced analyst who can lead effective communication with a diverse set of stakeholders to report and escalate issues as required.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has strong risk management and coordination fundamentals and thrives working in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
This position reports into the Senior Manager of Model Risk Management in Risk Management.
**Job Description**
**Customer Accountabilities:**
Work closely with Model Stakeholders to identify opportunities and serve as an ambassador for MRM
Monitor/report on compliance, management, and strategic initiatives
Support established enterprise-wide risk escalation, review and approval processes, data management, policies and risk assessment processes
**Shareholder Accountabilities:**
Work in a highly interactive, team-oriented setting with Stakeholders across the enterprise
Ensure core Bank data and metadata is appropriately managed to support business requirements / needs
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
**Employee/Team Accountabilities:**
Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area and keep current on emerging trends /developments and grow knowledge of the business, analytical tools and techniques
Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet assigned timelines
Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency
Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program and project managers
Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units
**Breadth and Depth:**
Act as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialization
May serve as an escalation or process reference within field of specialty
Act an information resource for others in their own area
Solve complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, which may include consultation with numerous stakeholders
Independently perform functions/activities from end to end
**Experience and/or Education:**
Undergraduate degree
A relevant risk professional designation preferred (e.g., FRM, PRM)
2+ years relevant experience in Financial/Banking industry
