As the Service Centre Clerk, you will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties of moderate complexity to ensure effective office operations, in accordance with established service standards, procedures and business rules.
This Service Centre Clerk responds to general internal and external enquiries.
The work is done efficiently and confidentiality is maintained.
Greetscustomers and providescourteous and professional first point of contact.
Performsgaragetriageduties,checking in customers for scheduledappointments.
Coordinatesvehicletrafficfor estimating and driver testing appointments.
Triagescustomerenquirieswithin levelofauthorityand escalates issuesorconcernsto theappropriate resource.
Assists customers in accordance with office processes, in person oron the phone.
Receivescustomer or vendor calls and messages as required.
May assistwithadministering Knowledge Tests and basic IWS transactions.
Performsroutine tasks in accordance with departmental procedures.
Performsfinancial transactions, as required.
Prints Knowledge Test and Driver Testingschedulesforthenext business day.
Prepares, distributesand filescorrespondence.
Receives, sorts, stamps, scansand distributesincoming documents.
Operatesstandard office equipment.
Faxes, photocopies andprintsdocuments as instructed.
Education: Highschooldiplomaor equivalent.
Experience: One yearofexperience in an officeand/or customer serviceenvironment.
Technical Knowledge and Skills: Learn and /or operate office software andequipment.
Working knowledgeof Microsoft Officeapplications.
Work with minimal direction and exercise initiative.
Handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Working knowledge of MPI policies and procedures related to products and coverage.
