This role is within the Reserving team of Aviva Canada’s Corporate Actuarial department. You will utilize standard and advanced actuarial methods, including machine learning models using Python. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze claim reserves using advanced actuarial methods • Support Quarterly Reserve Committee and Year-end Valuation reports • Maintain internal and external monitoring reports • Offer insights into financial performance from reserving perspective • Identify efficiency improvements for current processes
Requirements: • Degree in Actuarial Science or related field • Actively pursuing actuarial exams • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and VBA • Excellent communication skills for teamwork
