The Role: Join our team as a Recreation Therapy Aide and play a key role in enhancing the lives of seniors! You will be responsible for planning and facilitating a variety of recreational,



social, and therapeutic programs tailored to the unique needs and abilities of our residents. If you’re passionate about working with seniors and making a meaningful impact through engaging activities, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate engaging recreation programs for residents, promoting physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Assist with seasonal events and special outings , creating memorable experiences for residents.
Document participation and maintain accurate records , ensuring residents' progress is tracked effectively.
Prepare and post program notices and calendars , keeping residents and families informed.
Provide therapeutic one-on-one visits under the guidance of the Director of Recreation Therapy.
Report residents' progress to the Director, ensuring timely documentation into clinical records.
Supervise and support volunteers , ensuring smooth program delivery.
Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team , fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Take on cross-functional duties as needed, including assisting with feeding.

You'll be part of a team that values empathy, compassion, and innovation.
Education & Experience: Certification as a Recreation Therapy Aide (or equivalent certification).
Experience in Long-Term Recreation Therapy is highly desirable.
First Aid/CPR certification.
Supportive Pathway training.
