Shift: Afternoons (3:30pm - Midnight)

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a Setup Operator responsible for the setup and tear down of our surface mount technology (SMT) machines. This individual will be eager to learn new processes, can work efficiency in a fast paced workplace and enjoys working independently and with a team to meet deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize with Planning, Materials and Management about a schedule to ensure setup will be completed before run date

Print off setup sheets from Fujicam or Siemens controllers

Utilize the Setup Tracking Sheet (kept in the area) and upon completion hand it into your PTL

Checking binder for any deviations,



material issues and special instructions from engineering that might affect setup completion

Manage materials making sure kits are received and returned in the same order

Setup feeders, check for stencil availability and ensure accuracy for overall setup processes

Perform feeder maintenance when required

Participate and adhere to DSM safety policies and practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED or 2-3 years related experience and/or training

Strong oral communication skills

Exposure to performing scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment is an asset

Intermediate skills with MS Office, internet and manufacturing software’s

Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

Proficient working independently and/or part of a team

Detail oriented and possess a strong initiative to improve processes and promote and improve quality

Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness

Strong ability to prioritize and plan the work activities, using time efficiently
