Magna Mining is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Levack Mine.

This is a hands‑on engineering role supporting the electrical systems, infrastructure, and equipment that keep our underground and surface operations running safely and reliably.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide electrical engineering support for underground and surface mining operations.

Support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems and equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and operational issues in a timely manner.

Assist with electrical projects, upgrades, installations, and commissioning activities.

Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

Ensure compliance with company standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations.

Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.

Review and maintain electrical drawings, documentation, and technical records.

Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, contractors, and technical teams to support production objectives.

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.

Provide technical support and guidance to Maintenance and Operations teams.





Participate in field inspections and troubleshooting activities as required.

Requirements
Who We’re Looking For

Have a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or are eligible to obtain one — considered an asset.

Bring 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in underground mining operations.

Have a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Are a strong troubleshooter and practical problem‑solver.

Bring strong organizational and project coordination skills.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Can work independently while collaborating effectively with site teams.

Bring strong analytical and decision‑making skills.

Can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
