Support individuals who are Deafblind with CNIB Deafblind Community Services as a Specialist Intervenor. Empower clients through advocacy, communication, and guidance every day.

As a Specialist Intervenor, you will report to the Manager, Service & Operations. Your work will facilitate communication and support for individuals with Deafblindness. You will use your knowledge of Deafblind culture and intervention principles to foster independence and community participation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one support to Deafblind individuals
• Facilitate access to information for informed decision-making
• Offer sighted guidance and environmental insights
• Collaborate to determine individual support needs
• Empower clients to engage in community activities

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in human services preferred
• Experience with Deafblind individuals considered an asset
• Knowledge of alternative communication methods
• Professionalism and rapport-building skills
• Flexibility to travel and work wide-ranging hours
