Title: Building Surveyor
Location: Greater Toronto Area
Company: Triumph Group of Companies
Role Overview The Building Surveyor leads detailed condition surveys of building exteriors, using 3D laser scanning and other surveying processes to capture accurate data on cladding systems, water infiltration points, and structural wear. You will translate raw scan data and site measurements into clear drawings, reports, and remediation recommendations that project managers, engineers, and clients can act on. Good work in this role means catching issues in the data that others would miss and explaining them in language that makes sense to the people doing the work and working on the project. You will split your time between processing scan data and building reports in the office and walking building envelopes on active job sites across the GTA. The people who thrive here can operate scanning and surveying equipment with precision, but they are just as comfortable standing in a room with management explaining what the numbers mean. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, estimators, and site teams, and your survey findings will often set the direction for how a cladding project gets scoped and priced.

You take ownership of your survey findings and stand behind your reports when questions come up
You are comfortable moving between office based data processing and hands on work at height or on active job sites
