Our client in Markham, ON is seeking a highly driven
Senior eCommerce Key Account Manager to lead and grow their national Amazon business.
Reporting directly to the Director of eCommerce, this role owns the Amazon channel P&L; and is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, pricing strategy, promotional planning, trade investments, and overall account performance through Amazon Vendor Central.
This is an excellent chance for a candidate who has managed Amazon Vendor Central businesses within a
CPG, food, consumer products, retail, or related environment and is comfortable owning the account end-to-end.
What You'll Be Doing
Own and manage the national Amazon business.
Lead Amazon Vendor Central account strategy, growth initiatives, and commercial planning.
Build relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers, category teams, brand specialists, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Own annual business planning, account negotiations, pricing discussions, promotional funding, and trade investments.
Manage Amazon-specific activities including PO review, inventory planning, assortment management, pricing, content, and account health.
Develop and execute annual promotional calendars including Prime Day, Deals, Coupons, and seasonal events.
Align forecasting, inventory planning, and promotional programs with annual operating plans.
Proactively manage buyability issues, pricing flags, listing suppression, inventory concerns, and account performance risks.
Analyze sales, POS, market share, profitability, inventory, and competitive data to drive growth opportunities.
Prepare and deliver business reviews and executive-level presentations.
Work cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and external partners to drive results.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of Amazon Vendor Central experience ( mandatory )
Experience managing Amazon accounts within
Food, CPG, Retail, Consumer Products, Beauty, Health & Wellness, or similar industries
Experience owning account P&Ls;, forecasting, pricing strategy, and promotional planning
Experience negotiating pricing, trade investments, and commercial agreements
Strong understanding of Amazon retail operations, account performance, inventory management, and digital merchandising
Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets and present actionable recommendations
Experience working directly with Amazon Vendor Managers and key stakeholders
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable owning an account end-to-end and influencing senior stakeholders
