Senior FPGA Engineer - Machine Vision Camera Development Join a Teledyne team developing industrial machine vision camera systems used in demanding applications around the world. As a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing advanced camera platforms from concept to production, owning critical FPGA subsystems that directly impact performance, cost, and product success.

What you'll do

OwnFPGAsubsystemdesignfromrequirementsthroughproductionrelease.

Optimizedesignsforarea,resourceutilization,power,andcost.

Createconstraints,performtimingclosure,andanalyzeclockdomaincrossings.

DefineFPGA/firmwareinterfaces,registermaps,andmemoryarchitectures.

Developverificationplans,simulationenvironments,andtestbenches.





Leadhardwarebring-upanddebugofprototypeboardsandinterfaces.

Investigateproductionandfieldissuesanddriveroot-causeresolution.

Collaboratewithfirmware,hardware,sensor,test,andproductteams.

MentorengineersandcontributetoFPGAdevelopmentprocessesandreuse.

What you need

Required: Stronganalyticalskills,ownershipmindset,andcollaborativecommunication.

Required: 7+yearsofFPGAdevelopmentusingVHDLand/orVerilog/System Verilog.

Required: Experiencewithsimulation,synthesis,timingclosure,andFPGAimplementation.

Required: Provenabilitytooptimizedesignsforsmall,cost-effectiveFPGAdevices.

Required: ExperiencewithVivado,Quartus,Libero,orsimilartoolchains.

Required: Hardwarebring-upandlabdebuggingusingFPGAdebugandtestequipment.

Required: ScriptingexperiencewithTcland/orPython.

Required: Bachelor'sdegreeinElectricalorComputerEngineering.
