Join Phoenix House as a part time Clinical Support Worker, providing critical support to residents in recovery. Work includes substance use services and maintaining a safe environment.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will report to the Program Manager and engage with a team dedicated to client care. Your role integrates clinical, housing, and educational services to assist marginalized populations through their recovery journey. Key tasks include supporting medication schedules, documenting client behaviors, and facilitating positive social interactions among residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist new clients with orientation and room assignments
• Support recovery care plans with accurate documentation
• Administer medications and maintain precise records
• Monitor resident behavior and report safety issues
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with house rules
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and Community Social Service certificate
• One year of related experience in substance use services
• First Aid and CPR certified
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
