Drive financial success as an Early Stage Collector at Meridian OneCap, a hybrid role based in Toronto. Engage with customers to negotiate payments and ensure account resolutions are handled effectively.

In this contract position, you will minimize delinquent accounts through proactive follow-ups and by collaborating with internal teams. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will assess non-payment reasons and pave solutions. Your expertise in collections will contribute to meeting team targets for delinquencies and loan losses while enhancing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Negotiate payment arrangements for past due accounts
• Manage collections email queue with established SLAs
• Ensure agreements are met through follow-up




• Review accounts in detail for non-payment issues
• Prepare files for referral to Late Stage Collectors if necessary

Requirements:
• 2-5 years experience in collections or financial services
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
• Excellent problem solving and negotiating skills
• Robust written and verbal communication
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
