As a Social Worker, you will provide crucial psychosocial support within CHEO's Mental Health Acute Care Service. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, offering family and group therapy, and engaging in crisis intervention. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you'll contribute to improving the well-being of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for children and youth
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions




• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
• Advocate for families and coordinate community resources
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical research

Requirements:
• M.S.W. graduate from an accredited program (preferred)
• Experience in pediatric mental health or related field
• Knowledge of community mental health resources
• Bilingual in French and English
• Membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers
