Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

LIV Design Studio is an award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm located in Vancouver. Since our inception in 2012, we have become one of the most trusted and recognized interior design firms both locally and internationally. We have completed projects from Vancouver to Toronto and as far away as London and Hong Kong.

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help drive the growth of our studio, our sister company, and affiliates. In this role, you will be a true talent scout, relying on genuine curiosity, advanced searching techniques, and a knack for finding the right people in unexpected places.

With recruitment experience spanning various sectors, you excel at pivoting to source talent for roles in design, architecture, construction, accounting, IT, marketing, sales, and administration. You are adept at creating a genuine candidate experience and building strong relationships within the studio, while also participating in various ad hoc projects and duties to support the overall business operation, your keen eye for talent will be crucial in supporting our ongoing growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage the full recruitment cycle from candidate tracking, sourcing, screening through interviews, reference checks, offers, and contract negotiations

Own and drive recruitment strategies across open and upcoming requisitions, adapting and pivoting approaches based on hiring needs and results

Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools, and workflows





Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

Utilize innovative, organic sourcing methods (including advanced Boolean strings, X-ray searching, open-source intelligence, and other non-traditional channels) to uncover passive talents

Leverage AI to improve recruitment processes, and streamline candidate communication

Stay informed on local talent markets and hiring trends, providing hiring managers with insights and recommendations to support recruitment decisions

Partner with hiring managers throughout the full recruitment cycle, including intake meetings, job description development, and candidate selection

Research and attend network events

Build and forge relationships with external associations, institutions, and talent communities

Help facilitate company culture initiatives

Participate in organizing and planning team events and other social activities

What You Bring Us:

3+ years experience in recruitment, ideally in-house and/or agency, with experience managing roles across diverse industry sectors in a fast-paced environment

Full cycle recruitment experience, including intake needs analysis,



job description crafting, sourcing, screening, and contract negotiations

Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive recruitment strategies

Deep familiarity with open-web sourcing strategies, including advanced Boolean strings, X-ray searching, and creative sourcing across non-traditional platforms

Strong understanding of local talent markets and the ability to providing hiring managers with relevant market insights and recommendations

Able to easily build and maintain rapport and relationships internally and externally

Comfortable leveraging AI and technology to streamline recruitment processes

Tech savvy and eager to experiment with new tools and approaches

Excellent communication and organization skills, with strong attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, problem solving, and sound judgment
