- Conduct assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for individuals with behavioral challenges
- Provide direct behavior analytic services to clients, including implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-based decisions
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans
- Provide training and support to staff members on behavior management techniques
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis
Experience
- Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.BA) certification an asset but not required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children, is preferred
- Familiarity with Google drive, documents, powerpoint and excel
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Experience with PEAK, ABLLs, EBIC assessment and curriculum
Skills
- Robust understanding of principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
