About Amii
Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) is one of Canada’s three main institutes for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, our world-renowned researchers drive fundamental and applied research at the University of Alberta (and other academic institutions), training some of the world’s top scientific talent. About the Role
We are looking for a number of Program Coordinators, both Term and Permanent positions, to support the development, deployment, and growth of AI literacy programming across K -12, post-secondary, and industry.

Reporting to the Manager, AI Literacy, the Program Coordinator is a key member of the Training team, actively participating in the execution of Amii’s business functions. This position focuses on driving program development and growth while contributing to the team's overall success in delivering effective AI literacy initiatives.

This position focuses on achieving excellence in three main accountabilities:

Required Skills / Expertise
Key Responsibilities:

Supports end-to-end support for AI literacy program and product delivery, including administrative tasks

Ensures an exceptional client experience through timely and clear communication





Supports program development and growth initiatives as identified by their Manager

Assists in the development of program schedules and product roadmaps

Coordinates internal tools and resources for Training team products and projects

Captures and monitors and evaluate program performance through metrics and feedback, identifying areas for improvement

Assists in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of program and product execution

Adapts and manages shifting priorities effectively based on evolving program requirements, team dynamics, and client needs

Manages and responds to inbound inquiries

Schedules and organizes meetings, workshops, and events related to program execution

Ensures exceptional client experiences through timely and transparent communication

Prioritizes driving client success by providing exceptional support and anticipating client needs

Collects feedback from stakeholders and participants to support the evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and products

Tracks and reports on client satisfaction metrics to support the identification of areas for improvement

Incorporates client feedback to enhance delivery and ensure client success

Supports and executes product-related contract fulfillment needs

Acts as a go-to-resource for other product teams and departments for Amii’s LMS platform

Facilitates interactions and cooperation between different teams to ensure smooth workflow and information exchange

Helps manage team communication channels, such as emails, messaging platforms, and collaborative tools





Promotes and identifies effective problem-solving strategies in the workplace

Takes tangible actions to inspire peers and team members to achieve the organization's mission

Required Qualifications:

Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, or related field (nice to have)

2+ years experience in program coordination or project management (nice to have)

Experience working within a technology-focused organization (nice to have)

Experience working with MOOC, CRM, LMS platforms
