Whitecourt Ford is seeking a driven, process-oriented leader to guide our Service Department. With 13 service bays and 4 detail bays, we proudly support a hardworking community fueled by forestry, oilfield, agriculture, and local business. Position Overview The Service Manager is responsible for the leadership, performance, and profitability of the Service Department. This includes overseeing advisors, technicians, support staff, and daily operations while ensuring an outstanding experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
Relocation allowance may be provided for the right candidate
Responsibilities Manage the Service Department to achieve sales, profit, and efficiency targets
Direct and schedule daily activities of all service staff
Guide, evaluate, and support team performance
Conduct annual one-on-one performance evaluations
Lead regular department meetings to review goals, results, and team feedback
Establish clear processes and operational standards to ensure consistency and efficiency
Customer Experience & Quality Control Ensure high-quality service and repairs are delivered to every customer
Review completed repair orders for quality control
Handle customer inquiries and escalated concerns professionally and effectively




Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and growth
Operational & Administrative Oversight Control department costs while maximizing productivity
Support marketing initiatives and service retention strategies
Oversee shipping and receiving of parts
Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and directives
Maintain adherence to health and safety regulations
Perform additional duties as required to support dealership operations
Requirements Previous automotive experience is mandatory. Applicants without automotive experience will not be considered.
Robust decision-making and multitasking abilities
Proven administrative and management capability
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong computer proficiency (PBS considered an asset)
Valid driver’s license and clean driver abstract
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
