ZenaTech is seeking a Senior Accountant to enhance our financial operations. This role involves crucial accounting functions such as preparing financial statements and managing subsidiary records.

In this key position, you will maintain financial records, ensuring compliance and consistency across our various subsidiaries. You will handle essential tasks such as account reconciliation, invoice processing, and month-end closes while assisting the CFO and auditors. Your expertise will also extend to training junior accountants, ensuring they adhere to our internal standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee bookkeeping for multiple companies using Quickbooks
• Manage vendor and customer records in the accounting system
• Handle bank reconciliations, AP,



AR, and payroll entries
• Approve vendor invoices and process payments
• Assist with operational and financial audit fieldwork

Requirements:
• 7-10 years experience in finance and accounting
• Active CPA certification
• Understanding of provincial accounting and tax needs
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures
