Maintain protected and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Provide emergency / unscheduled / scheduled repairs of production equipment during production
Prepare and start up machinery and equipment for scheduled production runs
Conducting preventative maintenance activities and prioritizing tasks accordingly
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems and production machines; following diagrams, operation manuals, manufactures instructions and engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair or production machines
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be willing to work overtime when required
Must have a basic tool kit. The employee tool allowance will allow for additional tools
Skills & Requirements:
Minimum educational requirement of high school diploma or GED with relevant work experience and trade certificates (433A)
Self-motivation and ability to work in an environment without direct supervision for extended periods of time
Ability to act in accordance with Standard Procedures supporting company-wide operational, service and safety guidelines
Excellent organizational skills
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
