The Company Arjae Design Solutions Ltd. is a quick growing Engineering, Design and Fabrication company providing unique solutions to clients in the conventional oil & gas and emerging helium industries. About the Role We are seeking a Class 3 Driver with Q Endorsement to join our team to drive truck/trailer and to operate related equipment. This position will be based in our Nisku fabrication facility. The majority of driving will be in the Edmonton area, with occasional driving assignments required for out of town/longer durations.

Key Responsibilities
Drive and operate truck, trailers and related equipment in a competent, safe and professional manner
Complete and review associated paperwork, ensuring high degree of accuracy
Perform regular maintenance on equipment
Follow and support Arjae’s safety program, procedures and safe work practices
Perform other duties as required
Complete tasks in a safe manner while working with others at company facility, customer sites, and public or private roadways
Perform physical work including frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
Maintain and organize related materials and equipment
Adhere to all local,
provincial and federal driving and traffic-related laws, regulations, and requirements; including load hauling with truck and trailer
Participate and adhere to company and client safety programs by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are supported and followed
Attend and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings, perform related hazard assessments, and take appropriate steps and precautions to eliminate or mitigate risks and hazards
Safely load, secure goods, and drive with a trailer, ensuring compliance to driver and traffic safety requirements
Work as a cooperative and constructive team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers; ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
Complete pre-trip / post trip inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned truck, trailers and related equipment
Continuously monitor vehicle operation, handling and vehicle condition, including all fluid levels in truck and equipment, and report any defects to supervisor
Requirements
Must possess a valid AB Driver's License - Class 3 with Q Endorsement
Must have a clean driver's abstract (Commercial Driver's Abstract).
Demonstrated ability to safely and competently operate truck, trailers and related equipment; must be able to safely load, secure and drive a trailer
Previous experience operating forklift is preferred
Experience operating loader, overhead cranes, and other related shop equipment and tools is an asset
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as a cooperative and productive team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate and complete documentation in writing; and ability to read, interpret and comprehend written materials
Highly responsible & reliable, with strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to perform related labour duties as well as drive truck.
Minimum 5+ years experience as a Class 3 Driver with excellent safety record and clear drivers abstract
Ability to perform physical work in an industrial shop environment required, including regular work outdoors; previous experience hauling industrial equipment, materials and supplies preferred
Related forklift training/certification and overhead crane training/certification is an asset
Previous experience in fabrication/production facility or similar industrial environment is an asset
Additional Details:
Please Note: Standard Work Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift; Days and hours of work may vary according to business requirements. Some overtime may be required during busy periods
The majority of the work will be in the greater Edmonton area, however some out of town or longer duration trips will occasionally be required
