Trillium Lakelands District School Board is looking for a temporary Speech-Language Pathologist to enhance student communication. This role involves assessments and cooperative support within local schools. This full-time temporary position supports students from elementary to secondary levels in Muskoka and Haliburton.
You will engage with teachers and staff, providing assessments and recommendations to improve communication for students with diverse needs. This role is integral to promoting student achievement and well-being through effective speech and language interventions. Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with educators and support staff on speech programs
- Conduct assessments for students with communication issues
- Discuss assessment results with staff and families
- Provide programming recommendations for non-speaking students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registration or eligibility with CASLPO
- Preferred 3-5 years school board experience
- Consultation experience with professionals and parents
