This full time, permanent role based in Ottawa, Toronto, or Montreal requires expertise in public policy and advocacy to advance UNICEF Canada's strategic goals. Reporting to the Director of Policy Advocacy and Research, you will shape advocacy strategies, influence legislation, and build relationships with key stakeholders in Canada and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and analyze Canada's foreign policy priorities
• Develop policy resources to support children's rights
• Monitor political discourse related to international policy
• Represent UNICEF Canada in advocacy networks
• Collaborate with global UNICEF experts to craft strategies
Requirements:
• Degree in International Development or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant advocacy experience
• Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
• Knowledge of international development and child rights
• Fluency in French is an asset
