This role focuses on psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and support for Indigenous students and families.The Limestone District School Board (LDSB) is seeking a Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate. You will work with the Indigenous Education team, providing comprehensive assessments and interventions tailored for Indigenous students facing challenges. Collaborate with in-school teams and community agencies to foster inclusive and supportive educational environments.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for Indigenous students
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health support
- Collaborate with educators and community partners
- Participate in career development opportunities
- Maintain compliance with regulatory body requirementsRequirements:
- Doctoral or Master's Degree in Psychology
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
- Indigenous ancestry with experience in community supports
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
