Before you read another boring IT job posting…Let’s be honest. You've probably read ten Systems Administrator postings today. They all say the same thing: Windows Server, Linux, AWS, outstanding culture, competitive salary. You don’t need another list. What you probably want to know is: who am I actually going to work for, and what kind of problems will I get to solve? So instead of HR telling you about the role, here’s a conversation with the person you’d actually be working for, Juan, our Director of Technology. An Interview with the Hiring ManagerQ: What are you actually looking for?A: I want to grow the team to continue the evolution of our infrastructure and build new systems.Q: What’s one of the biggest problems you’re trying to solve right now?A: Finishing our hosting infrastructure evolution and optimization.Q: What’s the day really like?A: A mix of forward‑looking planned work, incident response, and client support—anything “systems” will need.
