Join Red Pheasant Cree Nation as an Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative Coordinator, working full-time to foster healthier lifestyles in the community. Under the Health Director's supervision, you'll engage in programming development and implementation. This full time position is critical for enhancing the health of community members living on reserve.
Your role includes crafting a yearly work plan, coordinating meetings for education, and executing health promotion programs.
Key responsibilities also involve advocating and organizing workshops focused on health awareness. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop yearly work plans with goals and budgets
- Coordinate education meetings and home visitations
- Participate in follow-up activities for community members
- Organize individual and group health workshops
- Act as a liaison and advocate for health initiatives Requirements:
- Relevant educational background in health
- Knowledge of diabetes and community health
- Class 5 driver’s license required
- Must pass Criminal Record Check
- Ability to work overtime if needed Contribute to community wellness and education by leading diabetes initiatives at Red Pheasant Cree Nation.
